About the Course

In nature, summer is a time of abundance, when things come to maturity, and life is in full bloom.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with long standing equity and social justice issues in the forefront, we’re all being called to adapt, expand, transform and engage our human creativity in a time of uncertainty. To truly open our hearts, and embrace transformation, we often need to start by cultivating our own inner resources, in order to stay grounded, centred and deeply connected to what keeps us whole.

 

With that in mind, I offer the following online practices to support you to cultivate a felt sense of stability,  embodied resilience and deep connection to your heart wisdom. My intention is to offer a solid foundation for collective practice, that supports clarity, gratitude and our ability to take skillful action in the world.

Learn seasonal practices and techniques that celebrate your body’s innate intelligence, and the significance of being in alignment with nature.

My approach unites advanced training in the therapeutic, technical and spiritual applications of yoga, with an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, patho-physiology, movement rehabilitation, trauma theory, attachment theory, and somatic & transpersonal psychology.

FAQs

WHAT ARE THE COURSE DATES?

The program will run from August 7th – Aug 9th, 2020.

Each day will include a 3 hour live online session (via Zoom) that includes a presentation, and an experiential yoga and/or meditation practice.

We’ll also stay connected via email, to track your development throughout the course,

As a bonus, you also have the opportunity to join a follow up group call (approximately one month after the course is completed) to support your integration of the material in your daily life, and to answer questions you may have.

WHEN WILL THE LIVE SESSIONS BE HELD?

Live Sessions with Kelly will be held daily on Thursday Aug 6th, Friday Aug 7th, Saturday Aug 8th & Sunday Aug 9th from 9am – 12pm.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I PLAN TO SPEND ON THE COURSE?

3 hours per day. 

WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER COMMITMENTS DURING THE COURSE?

Upon request, live sessions, and classes can be recorded, and sent to you by email. These are for personal use only. 

Downloadable Worksheets; incl. suggested actions & reflection will be sent to you by email.

WHAT MATERIALS OR EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

Your wifi connection, a yoga mat, a notebook, and your willingness.

If you have additional yoga props available they can greatly enhance your yoga and meditation practices. For example ; a bolster, a meditation cushion, a medium sized bath towel, a soft blanket, an eye pillow/scarf.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE COURSE, AND IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN?

The investment for Nurturing Resilience : A Summer Online Wellness Retreat is one payment of $297, or three payments of $99. If you choose the payment plan, you’ll be billed monthly.

IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?

Simply contact me before Aug 1, 2020, and I’ll happily refund you in full.

I have just completed the Fall Yoga Immersion at The Haven with Kelly and it was the most wonderful experience.
