Included in the program :
Principles of Ayurveda
We’ll explore the language and fundamental principles of Ayurveda, and explore how you can utilize it to support the innate intelligence of your body, and cultivate dynamic balance in all aspects of your life.
We’ll explore seasonal nutrition through the language and principles of Ayurveda, and look at how to cultivate dynamic balance based on the season, your unique constitution, and your current state of health.
We’ll explore Ayurvedic guidelines for seasonal cleansing, as a way to release residual kapha imbalances from the spring, and address any pitta imbalances that are accumulating. A summer cleanse is a simple way to reset your entire system by removing toxins and strengthening digestion.
Ayurvedic Hatha Yoga
Ayurvedic Hatha yoga for summer will focus on balancing the intensity of Pitta (excess fire and water elements) through sequences that improve your overall blood flow and circulation, cooling postures and breath work, and by nourishing your heart, lungs and digestive organs.
We’ll explore tantric approaches to meditation, as brilliant and powerful techniques for inhabiting your inner body, working with your mind, and expanding your breath, so that you can expand your consciousness.
Yin Yoga for Summer
In the Five Elements Chinese system, summer is governed by the element of Fire, and is associated with the heart, and the small Intestine. Our summer Yin practices will focus on poses, breath work and meditation that harmonize and balance you to the abundant spirit of summer.
Restorative Yoga for summer will focus on practices for calming, and toning your nervous system. To balance the heat and intensity of summer we’ll focus on cooling postures and breath work, and on practices for cultivating connection, ease and joy.
Yoga nidra is an immensely powerful meditation technique that takes you through the five layers of self, leaving you with a sense of wholeness. Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation, calming your nervous system, and leading to less stress and better health.

I have just completed the Fall Yoga Immersion at The Haven with Kelly and it was the most wonderful experience. I went seeking to explore a deeper path into my body and to living from my heart and this program came at the right time in the right place and with the most wonderful people. The content of this course is impressive. The work was so comprehensive not only encompassing mind body and soul but enabling us to leave at the end with hugely practical and achievable ideas and inspiration for daily practises aligning ourselves to our most truest self and intention and connecting both inner and outer worlds. Kelly is an intuitive and superb teacher, guide and support with a wealth and depth of knowledge and I felt truly held throughout. A beautiful experience I can most highly recommend."
