In nature, summer is a time of abundance, when things come to maturity, and life is in full bloom.
Drawing on the wisdom of Tantra, Seasonal Yin and Hatha Yoga, and Ayurveda, this course explores the connection between your body-mind and nature; and offers simple, powerful practices for attuning yourself to the expansive energies of summer.
Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner, or new to yoga and Ayurveda, you will gain practical, powerful tools for your optimal health & wellness.

We’ll explore seasonal nutrition through the language and principles of Ayurveda, and look at how to cultivate dynamic balance based on the season, your unique constitution, and your current state of health.
Seasonal Cleansing

We’ll explore Ayurvedic guidelines for seasonal cleansing, as a way to release residual kapha imbalances from the spring, and address any pitta imbalances that are accumulating. A summer cleanse is a simple way to reset your entire system by removing toxins and strengthening digestion.
Ayurvedic Hatha Yoga
Read More
Ayurvedic Hatha yoga for summer will focus on balancing the intensity of Pitta (excess fire and water elements) through sequences that improve your overall blood flow and circulation, cooling postures and breath work, and by nourishing your heart, lungs and digestive organs.
Tantric Meditation

We’ll explore tantric approaches to meditation, as brilliant and powerful techniques for inhabiting your inner body, working with your mind, and expanding your breath, so that you can expand your consciousness.
Yin Yoga for Summer

In the Five Elements Chinese system, summer is governed by the element of Fire, and is associated with the heart, and the small Intestine. Our summer Yin practices will focus on poses, breath work and meditation that harmonize and balance you to the abundant spirit of summer.
Restorative Yoga
Read More
Restorative Yoga for summer will focus on practices for calming, and toning your nervous system. To balance the heat and intensity of summer we’ll focus on cooling postures and breath work, and on practices for cultivating connection, ease and joy.
Yoga Nidra
Read More
Yoga nidra is an immensely powerful meditation technique that takes you through the five layers of self, leaving you with a sense of wholeness. Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation, calming your nervous system, and leading to less stress and better health.

FAQs
WHAT ARE THE COURSE DATES?
The program will run from August 3rd – Aug 20th, 2020.
Each week will include a 3 hour live online session on Mondays that includes a presentation, and an experiential yoga practice.
An additional weekly Yin Yoga practice, and weekly Tantric Meditation practice session are also included.
We’ll also stay connected via email, to track your development throughout the course,
As a bonus, you also have the opportunity to schedule a private one hour session (approximately one month after the course is completed) to support integration of the material into your daily life.
WHEN WILL THE LIVE SESSIONS BE HELD?
Weekly Live Sessions with Kelly will be held Monday Aug 3rd, 10th & 17th 9am – 12pm.
Meditation Sessions will be on Monday Aug 3rd, 10th & 17th, 5-6:30pm
Yin Classes will be on Wednesday Aug 5th, 12th & 19th, 5 – 6:30pm
HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I PLAN TO SPEND ON THE COURSE?
3 hours per week, plus our live Yin and Tantric Meditation classes.
WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER COMMITMENTS DURING THE COURSE?
All Monday live sessions, and classes will be recorded and sent to you by email.
Material and worksheets are also available in the downloadable pdf manual.
WHAT MATERIALS OR EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
Your wifi connection, a yoga mat, a notebook, and your willingness.
The following additional props will greatly enhance your yin restorative yoga practices if you have them available ; a bolster, a medium sized bath towel, a soft blanket, an eye pillow/scarf.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE COURSE, AND IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN?
The investment for Yoga & Ayurveda Immersion Summer is one payment of $297, or three payments of $99. If you choose the payment plan, you’ll be billed monthly.
IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?
Simply contact me before Aug 1, 2020, and I’ll happily refund you in full.
